Over the past 25 years Jim Krumsick, principal engineer for Paradigm Engineering, has provided the Eugene community electrical engineering services. From 1984 thru 2004, Mr. Krumsick was a vice president at Balzhiser and Hubbard Engineers (BHE) and managed the electrical department. In that capacity, he oversaw all of the firm’s electrical work. Project experience included numerous projects for State and local government agencies, the Oregon University System, and various school districts, hospitals, and detention facilities. Project scope ranged from upgrading electrical systems in individual buildings to analyzing institution-wide systems.
Mr. Krumsick now works as an independent consultant. This role allows him to focus more time and energy on projects of interest, particularly in the field of renewable energy and distributed generation. Jim is also a member of the Alternative Energy Consortium, a group of (3) electrical engineers who own, operate and monitor a 25 kW photovoltaic system.
